3. Yellow Check Engine Light

The first stage is a 20% reduction in horsepower, but if ignored, it can escalate to a 40% derate, making driving nearly impossible. At this point, a manual regen is no longer an option, and professional service is required.
4. Red Stop Engine Warning Light
The worst-case scenario—engine damage is imminent. If this light appears, it’s likely that the DPF and DOC are severely clogged, and immediate service is required to avoid catastrophic failure.
